Moving to a new location can often be distressing to the transferee's family, especially when the spouse is an income-provider as well. When moving to a new location, it is important to include all affected by the move.

RCI provides its Spousal Assistance program for reasons such as the above. It is often difficult for the spouse to leave his or her surroundings and be forced to seek new networks. RCI provides education and training for the spouse, as well as help with finding and establishing networks and career planning.
