Are you searching for something not covered by our standard packages?
We are happy to add extra services to our standard packages to cover any extra requirements – have a look at the services available and tell us what you need.
Alternatively you can choose to create your own package using the services
we have available, if there is something you want but don’t see please talk to us about it and we’ll do our best to ensure we can help out.
Whether choosing to add extras or create your own package we will charge labour to the nearest half day.

Pre-move service
Our Counsellor will contact you by phone or e-mail...and you will complete a questionnaire together – to define the package requirements and ensure we know exactly what you need.

Visa
There are many types of VISA and we suggest early consultation with us to avoid slippage of business requirements.
Citizens of EU preparing full local documentation.
Non EU citizens preparing full local documentation and help with securing a VISA from the Italian Consulate
in the appropriate country.

Fiscal Code
We will arrange necessary forms for you to complete for your personal Tax Code (Codice Fiscale), which is actually not related to tax affairs at all, rather, it is a personal identification number issued by the Government.

Permit of Stay
We will complete the forms and accompany you to the Council Offices to pick up this most vital piece of paper required for virtually everything.

Residency registration
Residency is necessary to apply for a phone line and a cheaper banking – we will arrange all the administration should you decide to chose residency...

National Health System registration
We will ensure your registration within a National Health System should you require it. However Italian National Health is predominantly Italian speaking therefore we can offer the option to link you with doctors and dentists who speak your given language.

Hotel Booking
If you are totally unfamiliar with the country or area – let us help you – save lots of time, effort and money.

Airport Pick-up
Dependant on package or if specifically requested as part of the Customer Configurable Package our Local Counsellor will be waiting for you...even if the flight is delayed...and will take you to the hotel booked for you

Country information Package
On the day, fixed by you with the Local Counsellor, you will be provided with the country and the city guide information that we feel, in our experience – will be most useful to you.

City-by-Zone Tour
You will see a number of areas (according to the package requested) with our Local Counsellor. You will be provided with the brief introduction to the country, overview of the city and a tour of the selected area(s). For a more in-depth explanation see our Cross Cultural Training Package.

Property Visits (according to the package requested).
Our Local Counsellor will assist you in viewing the properties in your selected zones. A Destination Needs Questionnaire for the family is completed beforehand to determine appropriate communities, housing requirements, financial capabilities, and general concerns.

Property contract and Inventory
The counsellor from the head office will negotiate and draft the rent contract and arrange inventory (a simple stock take of what furniture/fittings are being rented with the property, but a MUST by law and for your own protection) for you – keeping you in the loop at every stage. You will be accompanied at the signing stage by a Local Counsellor who will answer any question you have.

Utility connection
Ensuring a utility connection of gas and electricity is included in all the packages except BRONZE which is just a preview visit.

Phone Line
In case you want an Internet connection at home, talk to us about ADSL...Should you chose not to have a land line we can use our network of service suppliers to obtain a mobile at discount rates.

Household Goods Shipment, Storage and Insurance
If you decide to move your household and personal effects we will arrange a competitive contract for you, assist with customs documentations, advise on insurance, etc.

International Schooling
Assistance with finding appropriate international schooling is included in all our packages. It can be private language schooling for adults or international schooling for children – we will do our best to find something close to your new home.

Pet Transfer
Often, the family pet is more important to the kids than the TV, unfortunately they are more difficult to move!
It is not insurmountable, however, we will not mislead you: moving pets is one of the more difficult tasks that will require more client time than any other service. Contact us early to discuss...

Move-in Assistance
Once the onerous task of moving-in has finished we will help you explore the local area visiting the grocery shops, dry cleaners, bank, hospitals, and provide you with an explanation of local service operations such as the bank, shopping, payment of services, public transport, and we will accompany you on your route from home to school, the office and all the shopping areas.

Handyman and Maid Services
Need a picture hanging?.. Could do with a gardener?.. Need a maid service?.. RCI will call on our extencive network of contacts to get you the right person for the job.

Bank Account
As soon as you choose the zone - close to home or the office – our Counsellor will arrange an appointment for you in the chosen bank and attend with you to act as an interpreter/problem solver should you require it.

Car Lease/Purchase
We have worked hard to negotiate exceptional rates for car hire as we feel this is a particularly important aspect of relocation – not only can we save you money we will also explain the contracts to you! Should you decide to buy instead of rent, we will offer advice on insurance, Italian equivalent of MOT and other hidden nasties...

Two Days of Local Counsellor Assistance
Dependant on the package you have chosen you will have up to two days worth of local Counsellor assistance, whether it be meeting you at an appointment with someone else to help you with interpreting or just picking their brain over a coffee in your new home. We are keen that you have all the information you require, when YOU need it.

Ongoing Support
The Ongoing Support programme is available after the area orientation and home finding programmes have been completed. It means, should you need it:
Co-Ordination of contracting services(plumber, electrician etc.)
Introductions to sporting organisations
Calling Doctors and Dentists for you

Termination of rent contracts(obtaining the deposit, utilities contracts cancellation, refunds and down payments)
When it is time to go home there will be a hundred and one things to think about – let us take some of the strain and arrange for you the termination of your property contract and utilities – we can resolve most things for you but will still need you to sign on the dotted line...

Cancel registration with the Public Automobile Register
Whether renting or buying your vehicle you will have to be registered with the PAR and we will make sure you come off the register when you leave so that there are no untoward problems when you leave.

Closing a Bank Account
We will assist you with the close down of your bank account(s) – arrange mutually convenient times for going to the bank and accompany you should you need it.

Property Purchase
We will assist you in finding the property of your dreams and then draft the contract and arrange a notary to check it out and make it legal keeping you informed along the way.

Cross-Cultural Training
Best described as a mixture of advice,useful information and statistics these sessions are designed to be informative, not just about the country but yourself as well! We will explain why the country works as it does, how to get the best out of if and how to combat that uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach, which is quite normal and known as “Culture Shock”.
At RCI we have all been through it and will make the sessions as light hearted as possible with as much useful information as you want/need. We will provide insights into living in Italy as a foreigner, building business relationships – protocol and etiquette.
Together with the business side of things we will also discuss the local area living conditions, entertaining in the area and social etiquette.
Finally, we will provide information around expat organisations and clubs that may be of interest, help with organising language courses and can even provide help organising trips around the country!

We like to make the sessions interactive so feel free to come prepared with questions – if you catch us on the hop we promise to get you the answer as soon as we can after the session has finished!
